Meal prep saves time, money and energy. If you meals are healthy and already waiting for you during the week, you are far less likely to head to the drive-thru on your way home from work.
And just think, you never have to answer the question, "What's For Dinner?!" again because they can just pull what they want out of the fridge. Not too bad for a few hours of time on the weekend.
Get the whole family involved! It'll teach them how to plan healthy meals and make sure they are balanced. Meal preparation is also a great way to teach kids how to deal with individual produce. And you'll feel great knowing they can just grab a healthy meal out of the fridge and microwave it without you having to stop what you're doing and cook them a full meal.

Get up early on Sunday if you have to, but just a couple of hours invested in weekend meal prep will save you many hours of time in the kitchen during the week.
