Who I Am, What I Do, And What I Do Not Do.
My name is Tiffany McCauley. I create and share healthy recipes (based on clean eating principles) as well as information on determining what foods fall under “clean eating” guidelines. I did not create these guidelines. They have been around for many decades and can be sourced from multiple sources. In general, this term refers to cooking from scratch and avoiding processed and/or manufactured ingredients.
I am not a trained chef, I am a home cook. I have completed an online, plant-based, culinary program (Rouxbe), but have never worked in a restaurant setting as a cook or chef. (Though I was a restaurant manager for several years). I am self-taught, and simply share what I have learned over the years in regards to cooking.
I cannot take responsibility for the use of any culinary equipment in your own kitchen. It is your responsibility to educate yourself on how to use any type of kitchen equipment or appliance. Misuse on your part does not constitute responsibility on my part. All appliances are different, and as such, you should only apply my recipes in your kitchen to the extent that your kitchen tools or appliances are properly used. Do not follow my instructions exactly if the instructions of your kitchen tool or appliance say to do something different. Always follow the instructions on your kitchen appliance or kitchen tools and apply those to any recipe you find on this site, regardless of the instructions given in the recipe.
