How Long Does Flavored Butter Last?

Salted, flavored butter lasts 1 month in the fridge and up to 6 months in the freezer.

Can You Freeze Flavored Butter?

Absolutely! But you do want to make sure it’s packed well. Air-tight containers are important here because the butter will pick up flavors from other foods in the freezer that may not be packed as well.

What Does This Butter Taste Like?

It has a brown sugar flavor that comes from the dates. The cinnamon is somewhat prominent as well, giving it a flavor similar to cinnamon raisin bread. It’s quite delicious!

Ways To Use Date Butter

Date butter isn’t just for toast! Top your baked sweet potato with it, or melt it over French toast, waffles, pancakes, or crepes. It would even be marvelous in your morning oatmeal!
