Grilled Pork Chops Recipe

This grilled pork chops recipe is a wonderful way to kick off your weekend grilling.

Not everyone shares the belief that pork is “clean”. I’ve never thought of it as being “good” or “bad” aside from making sure that I get pork that is good quality and humanly raised.

If pork isn’t your thing, I have many grilling recipes you can enjoy that aren’t pork. Some of them are linked here, below.

When I decide to make pork chops, this is a no-fail way to make them taste delicious. There’s just something about the combination of pork and fennel that goes together every time. Something about the pork really reacts nicely with the fennel. It’s mild, warm, and has a little “zing” at the end of each bite. Add a little cooked kale as a side dish, and you’ve got yourself a wonderful meal.

About The Ingredients

The ingredients here are simple and easy to find.

Pork loin chops – You can get any size you want because you can always increase or decrease the amount of oils and spices as needed. So pick the ones you like best.

Extra virgin olive oil – Or any light-flavored oil you prefer to use. Just keep smoke points in mind for grilling.

Fennel seed – Found in the spice aisle of most grocery stores.

Garlic powder – Or garlic granules.

Ground black pepper

How To Make Grilled Pork Chops

Place all ingredients into a food-safe plastic bag and shake until the pork is well coated in the oil and spices.

Place on the BBQ and cook until the pork reaches an internal temperature of at least 165 degrees F.
