Spaghetti Rice With Spinach Recipe

This spaghetti rice with spinach recipe is a simple easy dish the kids will actually eat!

We all have those crazy busy days when the drive-thru is so tempting we can hardly stand it. I mean, on truly crazy days, the drive-thru provides a meal you don’t have to think about! But I’m here to tell you that you can make something at home just as quickly and easily, and it will be far, far better for you! I make this a lot for Mini Chef when we’ve had a busy day, and dinner needs to happen immediately.

A small white bowl holds a heaping serving of this Clean Eating Spaghetti Rice With Spinach. The sauce is mixed in with the rice and you can see flecks of spinach everywhere throughout the rice.

I buy pre-cooked and frozen brown organic rice from Trader Joe’s, my favorite clean spaghetti sauce, and some spinach from the frozen section. Warm it all together in a pot (the microwave works, too!) and top with some parmesan.

This is one of those crazy-simple recipes that you can put together in 10 minutes or less, and it’s pretty darn tasty, too. It’s also a great way to sneak some spinach into a meal for those who are not too excited about the prospect of veggies. Give it a try!

Do you know any brands of clean spaghetti sauce? Or did you make your own?

  3. I can’t get any recipe’s to print. If I can’t print them, I can’t take it to the kitchen to make it. So sad I can’t use your expertise and website.

    1. The Gracious Pantry says:

Lorna – Are you clicking on the green print button? If so, you should see a popup window. If you don’t, it’s your security settings or popup blocker.

  4. Lorna – First check on the advice just given to you. You can also do screen shots and then save them and print them out if nothing else. Also, if you have an iPad, there is a terrific app where you can import recipes from bloogers, recipe sites, etc. that gives them all the credit, etc. It’s called My Recipe Book and it is awesome!

  5. Dear Tiffany,
