What You’ll Need
Pasta – Use any type you wish and cook it to package directions. You can use gluten-free pasta, bean pasta, or whole wheat pasta. Whatever pasta you normally eat will work just fine here. However, do not overcook it. Cooking it to al dente is best because it will cook further in the air fryer.
Oil – You can use coconut oil or avocado oil. Some folks suggest olive oil, but I avoid that because of the low smoke point.
Salt – Whatever you normally use to cook with.
Pepper – Ground white or black pepper will work fine.
Marinara sauce – Use your favorite with no added sugar.
How To Make Air Fryer Pasta Chips
Boil your pasta to package directions in salted water. Then drain your pasta and rinse it with cold water to cool it completely.
Transfer the cooked pasta to a mixing bowl and add the oil.
Add the salt, pepper, and nutritional yeast (if using). Toss well.
Place the pasta in a single layer in your air fryer basket and air fry at 400 F. for 10 minutes. From there, cook them in 2-minute intervals, stirring each time.
When they are crispy to your liking, transfer them to a serving bowl and serve them with your favorite marinara for dipping.
How To Store Air Fryer Pasta Chips
Store these in an airtight container and keep them in the fridge for up to 4 days.
How Can I Make Pasta Chips Without An Air Fryer?
