Air Fried Pork Chops Recipe
This air fried pork chops recipe is a wonderfully lean way to enjoy pork for dinner!
The spices are simple, basic spices that most people already have in their pantry. The process is simple enough and all you have to do is cook whatever side dish you want to enjoy with your pork chops while they cook!
Air Fryer Recipes
If you are on the fence about buying an air fryer, I understand the hesitancy. It’s another, not-so-small gadget taking up room on your countertop. But if you love fried foods, an air fryer is a great way to get pretty close, while reducing your fat intake considerably. You can make some pretty darn healthy meals using an air fryer! If you’d like more ideas, you can find all my air fryer recipes here. And I have more on the way!
Easy Air Fryer Meals
Air fryer meals are super easy to make! The cleanup is minimal and the food is always delicious. You can enjoy the fact that you won’t have to stand over the stove cooking in a skillet with tons of oil. An air fryer cooks your food well and allows you to tend to other things while it cooks. I love appliances that free up my hands for doing things like cooking side dishes or get the dishes done before dinner!
Pork Chop Air Fryer Time
The amount of time your pork chops will cook in an air fryer will depend on their thickness. Thinner pork chops (about 1 inch) need approximately 12-13 minutes. Thicker pork chops (about 2 inches) will need more time. About 20-22 minutes. The most important step you can take is using a meat thermometer to check the temperature of your cooked pork chops. Anything less than 165 F. will require more cooking to avoid illness from undercooked pork.
How Do You Reheat Pork Chops In An Air Fryer
If you have leftover pork chops you want to reheat, it’s a fairly quick and simple process. Simply set the air fryer to 375 degrees F. and cook for 3-5 minutes. Your pork chops will taste just as good as they did when you first cooked them!
How To Make Air Fryer Pork Chops
The process is pretty quick and simple! I would first start cooking whatever sides you want to enjoy with your pork chops, as they will probably take longer to cook than the pork chops. When ready, put a light coat of oil on your chops, sprinkle with spices on both sides, place in the air fryer and cook. Everything will cook at the same time, and dinner will be ready quickly and with minimal fuss or dishes to wash.
