What You’ll Need To Make Tuna Avocado Toast With Sriracha Sauce

Tuna – Water-packed and wild-caught for the healthiest option.

Sriracha sauce – I make my own. Homemade Sriracha is delicious and totally easy to make. Plus, by making it, I can avoid all the unwanted ingredients in the store-bought stuff.

Coconut aminos – Or low-sodium soy sauce or tamari.

Sesame oil

Avocado

Fresh lemon juice

Whole-grain bread – No sugar added.

Red onion – Green onions will work too.

Toasted sesame seeds

Salt & black pepper

Make Ahead Options

Your best bet is to make the tuna mix separately, as well as the mashed avocado mix. You can also chop the onions ahead of time. Then simply assemble whenever you are ready.

Storage

It’s not recommended to store this as it is made. The bread will get soggy with all the toppings on it. So if you have leftovers, it’s best to scrape the toppings off the toast and save them for another time. They will last in the fridge for up to 3 days.
