Ingredients
2cupsalmond flour(not almond meal)
⅓cupgranular sweetener
1largeegg
6 tbsp.butter
¼tsp.salt
½tsp.baking soda
1½tsp.ground flaxseed
1tsp.ground cinnamon
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350F.
Measure and collect all your ingredients.
In a medium mixing bowl, combine the almond flour with butter and sweetener. Work the butter in well so it's evenly incorporated and doesn't have any clumps.
Now add egg and remaining ingredients and mix well to create a textured dough.
Knead the dough well to make sure that all the ingredients are evenly distributed throughout the dough. This is important.
Lay down a piece of parchment paper on a work surface and roll the dough flat to about a quarter-inch thickness. Cut the dough into. rectangles using a pizza wheel, metal spatula, or a knife.
Using a fork, to through and pierce holes into all the crackers. This is not just decorative. It also helps the crackers to cook properly. Bake for about 15 minutes or until the crackers are a nice golden brown color and appear crisp throughout.
Cool fully before serving.
