1cuppecan butter(you can make your own by blending pecans until they turn into smooth butter.)
1tbsp.oil(any type)
6largeeggs
2tsp.baking powder
½tsp.salt
spices(optional - any you choose to use. See suggestions in post above.)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 325°F (175°C) and prepare a loaf pan by greasing it with some coconut oil or butter.
Place the pecans in a food processor and blend.
Once fully blended, stop the processor, scrape the sides of the bowl, add oil, and blend again until you have smooth pecan butter.
Break the eggs into a large mixing bowl.
Add the baking powder and salt, maple syrup, and any other liquid additions you want to add (such as vanilla extract) and whisk.
Then whisk in the pecan butter.
Add any additions you want to add.
Pour the batter into the oiled loaf pan.
Bake the bread for 40 minutes, then raise the heat to 350° F. and bake for another 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Remove the bread from the oven and let it cool on a wire rack.
Slice and serve the pecan butter bread as desired.
