Ingredients
1lb.frozen cut green beans(thawed)
2tbsp.extra virgin olive oil
6mediumgarlic cloves(minced)
¼cupsliced almonds
¼tsp.ground rosemary
salt and pepperto taste
1tbsp.lemon juice(optional)
fresh chopped parsley(optional for garnish)
Instructions
Gather your ingredients. Thaw the frozen green beans completely and pat them dry with a paper towel.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
Add the thawed green beans to the skillet. Sauté for 6-8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the green beans are tender and slightly caramelized.
In the last 2 minutes of cooking, add the sliced almonds to the skillet and continue cooking, stirring frequently, until the almonds are lightly toasted, and the green beans are cooked to your desired level of tenderness.
Season the green beans and almonds with ground rosemary, salt, and pepper to taste.
Optional: Squeeze lemon juice over the green beans for a tangy flavor.
Once done, transfer the green beans and almonds to a serving dish. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley if desired.
