Ingredients
1mediumcauliflower head(washed and broken into florets. Or purchase a bag of florets to save time.)
3tbsp.extra virgin olive oil
2tsp.smoked paprika(use good quality - flavor matters here)
2tsp.garlic granules(or garlic powder)
salt(to taste at serving)
Instructions
Rinse off the head of cauliflower and pat it dry. Remove outer leaves, trim the stem, and break it into smaller florets. Put the florets in a larger mixing bowl.
To the mixing bowl, add oil and spices.
Stir well to coat the florets in oil and spices evenly.
Spread the florets evenly over a baking sheet, and roast uncovered at 400°F (200°C). Roast 40–55 minutes, depending on size, until color deepens and inside is soft.
Optionally: Gently brush any optional "blood" over the cauliflower and roast an additional 5–10 minutes for color set.
Let rest 5–10 minutes and serve.
