Ingredients
½cupfresh strawberries(hulled and sliced)
1mediumlime(juiced)
2tbsp.honey(or maple syrup)
10mediumfresh mint leaves
1cupsparkling water(unflavored)
ice cubes(as much as you like)
lime slices(for garnish)
Instructions
Gather and measure all your ingredients.
In a blender, add the fresh strawberries and lime juice. Blend until smooth and well combined.
In a glass, muddle the mint leaves gently to release their flavors. You can use a muddler or the back of a spoon.
Add the honey to the glass and stir well to combine with the mint leaves.
Fill the glass with ice cubes, leaving some space at the top. Pour the strawberry-lime mixture over the ice, filling the glass about three-quarters full. Top off the glass with sparkling water or soda water, stirring gently to mix all the ingredients together.
Garnish with a sprig of fresh mint and a strawberry slice, if desired. Serve immediately.
