Zest the orange and lime directly into a large bowl, and squeeze the juice from the orange into the same bowl.
Add the oil, garlic, and chicken to the bowl, ensuring that everything is well coated. Toss well to fully coat the chicken in the sauce.
Cover the bowl and place it in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes but no more than 2 hours.
Meanwhile, prepare your grill or grill pan by heating it to medium-high heat.
Once the chicken has marinated, remove it from the bowl and sprinkle it with salt and pepper.
Place the chicken on the grill or grill pan, and cook for approximately 6 minutes on each side or until the chicken is fully cooked. If you prefer a hint of lime flavor on your chicken, you can squeeze the remaining lime juice over the chicken while it's cooking. This step is optional but adds a delicious twist!
It's worth noting that if your bowl isn't wide enough to allow the chicken to marinate evenly, you can use a large Ziplock bag instead. Simply transfer everything from the bowl into the bag and let it sit in the bag. This ensures that the marinade reaches every part of the chicken.
