whole milk

heavy cream

(or coconut sugar, or monk fruit, or...)

peppermint extract

dark chocolate
Optional Toppings

candy cane
almond flakes
maple syrup
marshmallows
chocolate sauce
Instructions
Gather and measure all your ingredients.
Put the chocolate in a saucepan with the milk, heavy cream, and sweetener. Gently bring the mixture to a light simmer until the chocolate has melted.
Add peppermint extract and stir occasionally until all ingredients are combined. Do not bring it to a boil.
Pour the chocolate into cups and hang the cand on the edge.
Serve with whipping cream on top, almond flakes, crushed candy cane, chocolate sauce, or just simply on its own.
