Skillet OR air fryer
Ingredients
1slicebread(crusts on or off)
1oz.sliced cheese(1 slice - any type you prefer on a grilled cheese)
1tsp.prepared basil pesto(optional)
oil or butterfor cooking
Instructions
Assembling The Roll Up
Using a rolling pin, roll your slice of bread as thin as you can get it.
If using pesto, smear it on the bread.
Line up your slice of cheese with the bottom of your slice of bread.
Then roll up tightly like a carpet.
Skillet Instructions
Add some oil or butter to the pan and cook the roll up, turning it frequently as it cooks, until it is brown all the way around and the cheese is melted.
Air Fryer Instructions
Spritz the roll up with an oil sprayer, using a very light spray. Set the roll in your air fryer and air fry for one minute.
Serving
Serve this with a bowl of soup or with marinara for dip!
