(peeled, cored, sliced and chopped)

lemon juice

(omit if apples are very sweet)

maple syrup

pure vanilla extract

arrowroot powder

Topping

granular sweetener

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 F. and oil your casserole dish.
First you'll want to prep your apples and place them in the casserole dish.
Mix in all the filling ingredients and stir well to coat the apples.
In a separate bowl, mix all the topping ingredients, included the melted coconut oil (or butter if using that).
Spread the topping over the apples and bake for 40-50 minutes.
