Place the soaked nuts and all remaining ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth.
Adjust salt to your liking.
If the sauce is too thick for your intended use, you can simply add more broth. You will most likely want to do this if using this on pasta for mac and cheese.
Note: This makes a big batch. You can cut it in half if you won't use that much. This will keep in the fridge for up to 4 days. If you have several different intended uses, mix your broth in separately with smaller portions instead of just pouring it into the blender. Some recipes benefit from a thicker sauce.
