Ingredients

  • 4 large portobello mushrooms (large enough to cover your bun entirely)
  • 2 tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 tbsp. garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp. onion powder
  • 1/2 cup lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp. lemon zest (zest of 1 lemon)

Instructions

  1. Place all ingredients in a disposable plastic bag and gently move everything around in the bag so the seasoning gets evenly distributed over the mushrooms. Don't break your mushrooms!

  2. Place on the bbq and cook until the mushrooms are very soft and easily sliced.

  3. Assemble your burger to your liking. That's it!
