Clean Eating Bone Broth

A delicious bone broth from a  rotisserie chicken.

Ingredients

  • 1 medium chicken carcass (skin included)
  • 2 medium bay leaves
  • 2 tsp. peppercorns
  • water (enough o fill your crock)
  • OPTIONAL INGREDIENTS FOR EXTRA FLAVOR:
  • vegetable scraps (carrot and tops, celery, onions, garlic)

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients to the crock, fill with water to about 1/2 inch below the top of the crock and cook on low for 24 hours.

  2. When the time is up, strain the broth from everything else and store in the fridge until you are ready to enjoy it.

  3. Discard the remains.
