This delicious sauce makes a wonderful marinade for meats used in many Asian dishes.

  • 1/2 cup tamari (soy sauce works too)
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/2 tsp. powdered ginger
  • 2 tbsp. white wine vinegar
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp. Sucanat (or pure maple syrup)

  1. In a small to medium mixing bowl, combine all ingredients and whisk.

  2. Allow to sit in the fridge for 1 hour, then whisk again.

  3. Transfer to a container and store in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.

  4. Freeze in ice cube trays for up to 6 months.
