This tummy warming tea is lovely with a hint of lavender. It's a very soothing way to start your morning. And if you don't want the caffeine, use decaf tea.

  • 1 single serving bag earl grey tea
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk (regular milk works too)
  • 1/2 tsp. pure vanilla extract
  • honey or preferred sweetener to taste
  • 1 tsp. food-grade, dried lavender flowers (Optional but highly recommended)

  1. Steep the tea bag in the water either directly in a mug or in a pot (include lavender here if using - strain off before proceeding).

  2. Stir in all other ingredients and adjust to taste.

  3. Great served with a tea biscuit! (see link above)
