Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp. garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp. onion powder
  • 2 cups carrots, sliced (carrot tops work too)
  • 2 tbsp. dried parsley
  • 1 tbsp. dried thyme
  • 1 tbsp. dried rosemary
  • 1 medium chicken carcass (bones and skin)
  • water to fill your slow cooker to 3/4 full

Instructions

  1. After removing the meat from the bones, pack it away and return the bones and skin to your slow cooker.

  2. Add the spices and water and cook on low overnight.

  3. When you get up in the morning, strain the broth, discard the in edibles, rinse the crock if needed, and return the broth to the slow cooker.
