Clean Eating Shopping List For Target

So I’m adding to my list of shopping lists today with this clean eating shopping list for Target. Yes, I’m the sort of person who makes lists of her lists. What can I say? This girl has to stay organized! But in this case, you benefit from my overly organized ways.

I have to say that when I first started looking around the store for clean foods, I wasn’t very optimistic. Target is not a clean eating-friendly store. Not by a long shot. But there are some things you can buy there that will save you money, even if you have to supplement with buying a few things at other stores. Here’s what I found, all compiled in this handy clean eating shopping list for Target.

Would love a clean eating list for Audi’s, Meijer’s, and Walmart. Thank you for all of your inspiration and help to keep us all more healthy, especially in such a fast pace society…..:)

Laura – I have one for Walmart here already. It’s in the list of links above. But Audi’s and Meijer’s, I don’t have here. Sorry. 🙁

  2. Thank you so much for your wonderful lists! I was wondering if you have an Aldi’s in your area, if so I would love to see a list from there as well. I have noticed a lot of new products there that are organic and such.
Thanks again for all your hard work !

Ivy – Sorry, I don’t have one here. I believe they are more of an east coast company.

  3. Check out some of the new Simply Balanced (Target’s “healthier” brand) items next time you’re there. Not all are 100% clean of course, but there is some good stuff. I like the Greek yogurt a lot and it’s cheaper than Fage or Chiobani (especially with Cartwheel!).

    1. The Gracious Pantry says:

Jennifer – Good to know! Thanks!

  4. Thank you so much. You dont know what this does for a college student on a budget.

  5. Hi, I was at target today and I was looking around and saw a lot if frozen grilled chicken. From various brand like the new healthy target brand called simply something and apple gate. I was wondering how clean those already cook frozen chicken and turkey patties are. I work various hours of the day so anything to help cut back on long prep time would be helpful. Thank you.

Catolina – You would have to read the ingredient list. If you want to post it here, I can tell you. But I don’t know those products off the top of my head so it’s hard for me to say.

  6. Kristine Harrison says:

Target needs updated. I have recently shopped there and have been pleasantly surprised at how many clean options are available.

    1. The Gracious Pantry says:

Kristine – It’s not about updating. It’s about what is available at my local Target. This is what my Target had. I’m sure other Targets have many things that are different (and clean!).

  7. Rachel in MO says:

I bought the large container of Archer Farms raw mixed nuts in the Target snack aisle. I soaked them and roasted them (according to “Nourishing Traditions”) and they were fantastic. Will watch for Cartwheel coupons to find them on sale!

    1. The Gracious Pantry says:

Rachel – Great! 😀 Is that brand clean?
