Clean Eating Peach Smoothie Recipe

Clean Eating Peach Smoothie

Hot summer days have arrived and with it, my wilting nature. Me and high heat are not good friends. But I do love summer produce and all the possibilities it provides.

Peaches are available everywhere right now and I couldn’t be happier. While I’m not eating much fruit at the moment, I do occasionally splurge, and peaches are one of my go-to spluges. I can’t stand the fuzz, but once peeled, these lovely fruits lend themselves to an explosion of mouth-watering flavor. You don’t need to add a single thing to enjoy a good peach.

But that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t. Because when you do…. oh boy.  Life starts to take on a rather rosy disposition even in this heat. Add a peach to just about anything, and you’ve got a recipe that will stick with you for the entire length of summer…. or for as long as the peaches last.

This clean eating peach smoothie is a perfect way to use up some of that lovely summer harvest. Delicious, refreshing and just plain…. peachy!

Mmmm, YumO. Sounds like you feel the same way about peaches as I do Mangos 🙂

Anna – Mangos are a close second!

I won’t use agave anymore but I will definitely make this with honey! With perhaps a dab of maple syrup… mmm!

    1. The Gracious Pantry says:

Lauren – It would be delicious with honey! (And I know what you mean about the agave. Starting to head that direction myself).

I’ve been making peach smoothies the past couple of mornings. I make my own yogurt over the weekend and then add peaches, strawberries or blueberries. I froze fruit last summer and still have a couple of containers of peaches left – delicious!!!!

    1. The Gracious Pantry says:

Stephanie – Yum! Frozen fruit is such a great way to make a smoothie!

  5. Lauren – Why don’t you want to use agave anymore?? I thought it was good for you 🙁 I just bought a huge bottle LOL

Michelle – There is some debate over whether or not agave is clean or even good for you at all. Personally, I believe there is a ton of propaganda around it. But I did do some research on it, and from what I found, you do need to choose the brand you buy very carefully. Some manufacturers process the heck out of their agave, others do not. It helps to contact the company and ask questions.

  6. I use 100% organic agave. I feel like it is a clean alternative. I have lost 20 pounds by eating clean and now down to my ideal weight. I have noticed that more manufacturers are making it too. But, again I buy from ones that are organic.

Kelly – Organic is always best! Congrats on the weight loss! That’s wonderful!
