Clean Eating Low Carb Shopping List

My clean eating shopping lists are some of the top content on my website. Apparently, you guys really love the lists! And I completely understand why. A list that’s already made for you makes life so much easier! And since I love making lists, I thought I’d share my “standard” clean eating low carb shopping list with you guys as well.

Keep in mind that the type of items you buy will vary based on your approach to clean, low carb foods. For example, chicken can be purchased as a whole bird to ensure you get the most fat for eating more of a Keto low carb diet. In this instance, you would want the fattiest pieces of meat you can buy while keeping quality in mind as well. Buy the best quality you can afford. But if you prefer a lower fat list, then opt for things like boneless, skinless chicken breasts. Although, I will say that if you are eating low carb, you most likely want and need more fat. But I leave that up to you and the medical professional in your life.

What about salt? Should I only be seasoning with sea salt? What about Himalayan salts?

    1. The Gracious Pantry says:

Theresa – I use something called Real Salt. It’s great stuff. But if you can’t find that, then either of the two you mentioned should be fine.

  2. Darlene Dietz says:

You have no dairy, cottage cheese 4 0/0, butter, cream and cheese?

    1. The Gracious Pantry says:

Darlene – I am dairy free because I’m allergic to it. So it didn’t even occur to me. But you’re right. I’ll add them! 🙂

Diana – There are low carb alcohols, but technically, alcohol isn’t clean. That being said, even I have a drink now and again. I don’t really promote alcohol on this site (or try not to), but a simple google search for low carb alcohol will give you a full list.

  3. What are you thoughts on avocado oil? I don’t see it in the list of fats. It’s become my oil of choice due to it’s high smoke point and it’s mild flavor compared to olive and coconut.
