Clean Eating On Amazon

Clean Eating On Amazon just got easier!

If you live in a rural area or a small town, it can be tough to find even the most basic of clean eating ingredients other than fruits and veggies, or so many of you have told me.

So I thought I would compile a list of products (all of which I use myself) that you can order from Amazon. I hope you find this Clean Eating On Amazon list useful!

Some of these are sold in larger quantities which is why the price is higher. But for things like the bouillon, it’s worth the investment because you do end up using it. At least I do. None of this stuff ever goes stale in my kitchen!

Anna – I put them in smoothies all the time. They are great in muffins too or in cereal or oatmeal.

Nobody – That’s great! Thanks for adding those here!

    Jillian – Yes! You’re right!

hswhite – Yes, I actually did an article on that. It is a good sub, but the result is a bit more “bready” than with the pastry flour. It’s clean though and it does taste better for people who don’t like regular whole wheat.

Lisa – Any honey will do. I’m never choosey.

SuperV – I’m not sure what the actual term is for it, but you can ask for the whole wheat version of the flour used to make Blätterteig.

Katy – Yes! I love coconut oil and butter. Thanks for the reminder. I will add it to the list above.

Sheri – Love the list! I think there is sugar in the Kashi though, isn’t there?

Becca – Slightly. Depends on when you put them in too. If you don’t cook them with the oats, you get a little bit of crunch from the seeds. If you do cook them (which isn’t necessary), you get more of a “tapioca ball” effect. But in oatmeal, it’s much harder to detect.

Wrenka – I can’t say they make any difference in digestion. I rely on veggies and fruits for that. I use chia seeds for their omega 3 content. Higher than flax seeds! Some people do report feeling fuller with chia seeds however. But I haven’t found that myself.

Hi Tiffany, I printed out the clean eating beginning guide weeks ago,but decided to look at it closer today. I always look at so many different ways to lose weight and look better, I always knew that we ate a lot of processed foods and I always thought that it was better than fast food but today I read the guide and went in to my cupboards and realized that (first that we will be taking the slower route lol) we (I) would have to do something about our eating patterns. I have an 11 year old son and I always used him as an excuse to keep cookies, chips, cakes and pies in the house, meaning he is a kid he wants chips, cookies, and candy! So not the case, I asked him to make a grocery list and NONE of those things were on it! He listed fruits, veggies, lean meats, yogurts and healthy stuff! Reading your guide today made me take a closer look at what I was feeding my child and the excuses I make to buy those foods. Thank you SO MUCH for the guide on clean eating for your kids and teens. That helped out tremendously.
I do have a question, is there a clean alternative to protein powder? I seen the Hemp Pro 50 you recommended, is that going to give me the same results as whey protein?

    1. graciouspantry says:

Hemp is lower in protein than whey. It’s plant based protein, so there’s no way around that. But if you don’t mind the flavor, you can always double up on the amount you use. That’s what I do anyway.

  19. I love shopping on Amazon, I find so many different things on here that I would never find in a market without having to travel the distance, even with a $25.00 qualified purchase and getting free shipping on it you cannot go wrong, and it fresh.

  20. I’ve never used Amazon before at all, let alone for food…do you mind explaining how it works? Thanks! 🙂

    1. graciouspantry says:

Same as anything else you order through Amazon. You just shop, pay and wait for it to arrive. I believe if there are cold items, they do pack it cold and deliver it pretty quickly, but I’m not positive on that. I haven’t ordered any perishable items from them as of yet. I do know you can get good deals on larger quantities, so it’s a great way to stock up.

  21. Am I missing something? I’ve tried looking at this post on several devices & the food list never pops up. I didn’t have any problem viewing your other clean eating lists.

Sara – I’m not sure. You should see a selection of amazon items in the post. Could be a browser issue, but it’s hard to say.
