Do people use thermoses anymore? I remember when I was a kid, you always got a matching thermos with your themed lunchbox. They don’t come with them anymore, you have to buy them separately. But I always loved my thermos! There was either something cool and refreshing to drink on a hot day, or some sort of warm soup to keep me nice and toasty on a cold day.

  1. I live in the mountains at 7200 feet, and our winters are monstrous. Soup for lunch is necessary for me about 6 months a year. This would be amazing!

  2. I totally agree! I have three thermos’ one for food and two for drinks and love them.

  3. I had those matching thermos and lunch boxes! Love them. I’ve got a couple of thermos’ I’ve bought over the last few years to send with my husband or daughter, but I think the quality has declined. Even though I buy known brands and go through the preheating steps (which I KNOW my mother never did), the food is just barely warm come lunch time. I’m going to try another one and see because it’s nice to have a hot lunch, and while I have a microwave at work to reheat, my daughter doesn’t have that option at school and my husband has to walk a long way to get to one at his work.
