Getting Into The Swing Of Things
I’m starting week 4 of my exercise routine, and the clean eating plan is coming along nicely. It helps to pack all your food the night before. I don’t think I could do it any other way. Mornings come to early to thing about preparing 6 small meals for the day. I’m still half asleep when I leave the house for the gym.
The workouts are coming along nicely. It’s funny. My body has two very different halves to it. My upper body is weak as a new born baby, but my lower body puts some of the buff guys in the gym to shame. Who knew I could leg press 480 pounds right from the get-go??!!! I was pretty proud of myself for that one.
Finally moved up a level on the cardio. I’m using the bike at the gym. Man! I kicked my own butt today! Phew! But it felt great.
My energy is improving. I’m not as exhausted as I was by the end of my day. My blood sugar is improving as well. It actually gets to low now instead of to high. I realize I need to get it balanced and even, but at least I’m not so dangerously high any longer.
I’ve only stepped on the scale a couple of times in the last three weeks. I didn’t like what I saw, but I keep telling myself I’m putting on muscle. I must be losing inches because my cloths are fitting a little better. So I can’t complain there.
All in all, I like what I’m doing. I feel better, I’m starting to look better, and my overall health is improving. You can’t beat that with a stick!
