I should warn you, some of these posts are not pleasant. They are my genuinely soul baring, gut wrenching views and opinions on life and losing weight. Some of these posts may be sad, and some might make you laugh. But above all, they are honest.

Frustrated! I have remained the same weight for months after my 50 lb. weight loss. I moved to Germany and now gained 4-5 lbs. I continue to workout and eat healthy. Yes! I must admit I have eaten some pastas with cream sauce, German chocolate, and soft pretzels. I have done this on a rare occasion. Is this making me “thick” in my midsection. I want to lose my last 10 lbs. and I cannot get over that hump. I need some advice!

Nichole – I’m surprised! Most folks lose weight in europe. But here’s what you need to do.

    1) Write down everything you put in your mouth for 3 days. Then figure out the calories and such. You can do so a little easier online at MyFitnessPal.com. You may still be eating healthy, but if the foods are different, you may be getting extra calories somewhere you are not aware of.

    2) Change your workout routine. If you’ve been doing the same one for a long time, your body can get into a rut. You have to keep it guessing for weightloss.

    3) Once you have the food thing down, rotate your calories by 100-200 calories per day (either more or less for the day so your body doesn’t get used to the same caloric intake.

Once you have a good idea of what’s going on, you’ll be able to get a better handle on it.
    Hope this helps,
    Tiffany
