Leftover Turkey Sandwich Recipe

This leftover turkey sandwich is basically Thanksgiving dinner in a portable sandwich. Great for lunch the day after!

While many people look forward to a fabulous Thanksgiving dinner, just as many (if not more!) look forward to the leftovers afterwards. The combinations are endless!!

My first choice is usually a mix of mashed potatoes, corn, stuffing, gravy and a little cranberry sauce to top it off. But after that, I love a good “day-after” sandwich!

A delicious Leftover Turkey Sandwich sits on a plate, ready to sink your teeth into. There are layers of bread, turkey, cranberry sauce and lettuce visible.

I don’t know too many folks who don’t love a good leftover turkey sandwich in the days following Thanksgiving. In fact, I don’t know any. These sandwiches happen in many houses across the country and everyone has their own, perfect sandwich combination. You really can’t go wrong, regardless of what you put in it. But each person has that one, special combo that they think is best.

So this year, I’m sharing my version of a perfect, leftover sandwich. It may not be everybody’s favorite combo, but it’s definitely mine and I enjoy this every year after the holiday. Man I love leftovers!!
