		<description>Great post. For me...it&#039;s ALL about emotions..really. or being tired.

The one thing that I&#039;ve noticed recently is I go through this process

1. I get a &#039;hunger&#039; message
2. I ask myself &#039;are you really hungry?&#039;
3. Yes--eat No--ask myself the follwing
  a. are you stressed?
  b. are you tired?
  c. are you lonely?
  d. are you thirsty?
4. Then I SIT with the emotion/feeling. &#039;Michelle, you are stressed right now. That&#039;s ok. It&#039;s crazy right now, but eating ice cream is only going to take it away for a bit. So..let&#039;s make a list, pause for a bit, have a glass of water&#039;

Sitting w/ my emotions helps me so much.

And the thing is - I rarely binge on junk food. I just eat and eat and eat tons of HEALTHY food. Like you said, it&#039;s very possible to gain weight while eating clean/healthy foods (I can&#039;t say I&#039;m an entirely *clean* eater...yet :)). I love the tips you gave - especially things to do to distract yourself. I need to start implementing those things because I usually just say &quot;what the heck&quot; and go with the stress eating.
