Herbal Pizza Sauce Recipe

This herbal pizza sauce is simple and packed with flavor. It’s sure be a great addition to your next pizza!

I’m entering new territory in the kitchen these days. Mini Chef has always helped me in the kitchen, but now he’s asking to cook me dinner. He wants to cook all by himself. Now mind you, he’s nowhere near ready to be left alone in the kitchen. But it did get me thinking about what simple recipes I could allow him to do with me just supervising instead of stepping in to help.

This Clean Eating Herbal Pizza Sauce Recipe sits in a n open jar. You can see down into the jar and the red sauce is thick and filled with herbs.

This is the first recipe I’m adding to my new Kids Can Cook category. In this category, I will list very simple recipes that kids can learn to cook with. Give them a little supervision and a lot of support/cheerleading, and they’ll be cooking YOU dinner in no time!

I actually created this recipe for the breakfast recipe I have coming up next here. And while I don’t think Mini Chef could cook breakfast all on his own, it will be nice to know that he can help make different parts of a recipe while I work on the bigger stuff. I’ll make a chef out of him yet!

Please know this isn’t a traditional pizza sauce per se, but it definitely delivers on flavor! And stay tuned for my next recipe, I think you’ll really like this one.
